Jiljuana Coleman – PMP, MBA
Founder
Dedicated to Quality
Hello and thank you for stopping by to learn more about me. I am Jiljuana J. Coleman, the Founder and Principal Consultant of Jamerson Strategic Consulting, LLC. Jamerson was birthed out of my belief that with faith, resilience, and preparation, I can overcome any challenge. In 2007, 2 weeks before my wedding day, I was diagnosed with a rare nervous system disorder. After years of therapy and procedures, the condition went into remission only to aggressively return in 2012 after a work-related injury. The condition left me without the ability to walk or function “normally.”
Determined not to give up my dreams of starting a family, completing my MBA, and founding JSC, I fought my way back and in 2013, I completed my MBA and continued rigorous rehabilitation. At the end of 2015, I stepped out of my wheelchair and started walking. In 2017, I founded JSC with Philippians 4:13 (AMP Version) as my anchor, “I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]”
I am a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). I hold a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from Belhaven University and a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in International Management from The University of Tennessee. I have a Certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University and Certificates in International Business and French from Le Collège International de Cannes (France). I am also a graduate of Leadership Memphis.
My career’s journey has allowed me to hold management positions in banking, retail, and non-profit sectors. I have specialized training in project management, exporting, business strategy, diversity, and inclusion, continuity planning, disaster preparedness, fraud detection and prevention, bank and credit union compliance, unclaimed property, and generalized business consulting. As a Subject Matter Expert, I have served on four merger and acquisition teams.
Not only am I an accomplished businesswoman, I am also a community servant, volunteer, and advocate. I advocate for ADA compliance in the workplace and the rights of children in foster care. I am honored to be a Foster Parent with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, a Disaster Team volunteer with the American Red Cross, and a Reservist with the City of Memphis Office of Emergency Management.
I am happily married to my husband of almost 13 years, Tyrome Jamerson. We have an adorable paw-baby named Domingo.
I look forward to meeting you and doing my part in, “Strategizing Your Success.” Go ahead and book your free consultation. Success is waiting and I’m here to help.
